The sausage revolutionaries of Grillido have done it: The German Founders’ Award in the Startup category goes to Munich.
With their healthy, low-fat, and innovative meat products, Grillido is a welcome guest at many startup events. Now the two founders Manuel Stöffler and Michael Ziegler was honored with one of the most important startup awards in Germany, the German Founders' Award in the Startup category. The media presentation of the award alone is unique: The award ceremony was broadcast live on ZDF.
ZDF Director General Thomas Bellut presented the trophy to the Munich-based sausage startup. The founders were visibly delighted with the award, hugging each other and hugging presenter Barbara Hahlweg, who was visibly surprised:
“It’s rare for me to be pressured like that by founders.”
Stöffler and Ziegler said about the nomination:
“This is the highest prize a founder can win in Germany.”
