vr-on GmbH from Herrsching near Munich has secured a total of 1.3 million euros in a financing round. BayBG is leading the investment round, with other investors being Vito Ventures and the entrepreneurs Andreas Perreiter and Carsten Erdt.
vr-on's Stage platform enables B2B companies to set up collaborative virtual reality sessions between multiple locations. vr-on combines commercially available, affordable hardware such as VR headsets with existing game engines. Target customers are industrial and medium-sized companies with initial experience in virtual reality from industries such as automotive, engineering, and architecture.
Sovereignty over the data remains with the creator. This is intended to ensure that unauthorized users do not have access to sensitive data.
