The Bavarian Ministry of Food is looking for young startups with ideas on how to reduce food waste and unnecessary losses from production to consumption. Do you have an idea? Then apply for the "We Save Food" competition by November 17, 2017.
How can valuable waste or byproducts generated during food production or processing be turned into new, high-quality products? How can food waste be reduced? Which young companies have already addressed this issue and perhaps even come up with some creative suggestions?
With a competition for young startups, the Bavarian Ministry of Food and Agriculture aims to specifically promote business ideas that help reduce food waste in Bavaria. The three best applications will receive a start-up package and support from the partners of the "We Save Food" alliance. The winner will receive a cash prize of €5,000.
