Munich startups triumph at the HR Innovation Award

Munich is a master of HR! This was confirmed again at this year's HR Innovation Award, where Talentcube and function(HR) prevailed against the competition.

At the kickoff of "Zukunft Personal," Europe's largest trade fair for human resources management, the "HR Innovation Award" was presented for the second time to particularly innovative HR products and services. From over 100 applicants, a 15-member jury selected winners in four different categories. HR managers, startup entrepreneurs, academics, and journalists assessed the submissions.

The award was presented in four categories: HR Services & Operations, Software & Hardware, Training & Learning, and Recruiting & Consulting. In the latter category, the Munich-based company Talentcube The startups HeyJobs and Talent Solutions were among the finalists. The jury based its decision on Talentcube at the awards ceremony on its outstanding product development and innovative work in the field of smart recruiting. The three founders Sebastian Niewöhner, Hendrik Seiler and Sebastian Hust were delighted with the award:

“Winning the HR Innovation Award is a great additional motivation for us and confirmation that our work is valued in the industry.”

But that's not all. A second Munich-based company is also expected to receive an award. function(HR) With its HR Keyboard, the company successfully beat the competition and was recognized as the most innovative startup in the software and hardware category. The jury was impressed by the tool's contribution to basing HR decisions on a fact-based foundation.

“The tool is intuitive to use and gives a broad user group the opportunity to create analyses of all HR processes,”

explained jury member Prof. Dr. Simon Werther the selection decision. Dr. Daniel Mühlbauer, one of the founders of function(HR), was delighted with the award:

“The award and the subsequent contact with interested parties confirm to us that a tool like the HR Keyboard is in demand in human resources practice.”
