Startups had their own forum at this year's Expo Real. The Real Estate Innovation Network (REIN) hosted a multi-day startup program at Europe's largest real estate trade fair.
In a previous selection process, a jury selected the 25 best from 700 applications. These were then allowed to present themselves at the Munich trade fair. Among the selected companies were the Munich-based companies Comfylight and Toposens.
The aim of the REIN Forum was to connect the real estate industry with startups.
“We have achieved our goal with the new Real Estate Innovation Network,”
says Claudia Boymanns, Project Manager of Expo Real,
“Startups and established companies were in intensive exchange — and the quality of the digital products and services was truly impressive.”

REIN founder Wolfgang Moderegger says:
“The founders offered an overview of new technology trends—for all areas of the real estate value chain.”
