Attention creative startups: Apply now for the exhibition “Design Spirit – Working Environments and Products of Tomorrow” and take the opportunity to present yourself and your product to a large audience during the International Crafts Fair (IHM).
When two companies join forces, young labels are happy! The IHM and the Munich Creative Business Week (MCBW) are collaborating next year: together, they will literally provide space for young startups to present themselves to potential partners and customers during the IHM.
The plan: From March 7 to 13, 2018, the "Design Spirit – Working Environments and Products of Tomorrow" area will occupy approximately 320 square meters at the West Entrance. Visitors—around 126,000 in 2017—will be able to discover innovations in design, craftsmanship, manufacturing, and work organization. Market-ready products will be showcased, as well as prototypes for presentation and testing purposes in the market, as well as innovative processes and materials that promise potential for future market applications.
To participate, the following criteria must be met:
- Your company has been on the market for a maximum of five years
- You are ready to exhibit your products free of charge from 7 to 13 March 2018 as part of MCBW and IHM at the Munich Exhibition Centre
- You can take care of transport, assembly and dismantling before and after the fair as well as personal care of the exhibits during the fair opening hours

Apply now by November 15, 2017, for a place in the exhibition "Design Spirit – Working Environments and Products of Tomorrow." From all applicants, approximately 15 suitable young labels will be selected exclusively for "Design Spirit" by the organizers MCBW (bayern design) and IHM (GHM Society for Crafts Fairs). If you are selected, participation is free of charge.
