“Trade in Transition” winner honored at Rid Future Congress

The Günther Rid Foundation for Bavarian Retail, together with its partners, hosted this year's Rid Future Congress on October 18, 2017, at the Sofitel Bayerpost hotel under the motto "RETAIL_reloaded." Around 400 participants learned about current industry trends and developed new perspectives for the future of retail.

In various interactive sessions, debates, and presentations, participants learned more about the digital customer, construction site marketing, and innovative ideas for strengthening brick-and-mortar retail. Participants in the Rid support programs also reported on the positive effects the Rid Foundation's continuing education concepts have had on their companies.

"The This year's RID Future Congress highlighted the challenges facing local retailers and, consequently, local communities. We are delighted to provide participants with practical recommendations and new ideas each year to help them best address these challenges."

said Michaela Pichlbauer, Board Member of the Rid Foundation.
