Exit at Miflora: The floristry chain Blume 2000 is taking over 100 percent of the Munich-based flower delivery company. The purchase price is unknown.
Miflora sells bouquets online and also offers flower subscriptions. The Munich-based company also supports companies with customer acquisition and retention projects.
Miflora now part of family empire
Blume 2000 aims to strengthen its online business through the acquisition. A company statement states that Blume 2000 new media AG, the mail-order and e-commerce sister company of the chain, will expand its market leadership in the retail customer business. The company intends to build up its business with corporate customers in the long term. Recently, competitor Fleurop acquired the brand name of the insolvent startup Bloomy Days.
The Blume 2000 company is part of the Hamburg-based Herz family's empire. They also own 100 percent of Tchibo and a majority stake in the Nivea Group Beiersdorf.
