Female founders can apply for the Darboven IDEE Award 2015 until July 31st. Financial support of up to 50,000 euros is available. Founder Albert Darboven aims to use his commitment to promote the entrepreneurial potential of women in Germany and create sustainable jobs.
The award criteria of the Darboven IDEE Prize
The criteria for awarding the prize are clearly defined: the degree of innovation of the business idea, a viable business concept, the personal commitment of the founder and the number of new jobs created or expected.
Female start-ups and young entrepreneurs who have been self-employed for no longer than three years are eligible to participate.
Present the founding idea
Approximately five applicants will be invited to present their business idea in person to the jury in Hamburg. One spot in this final round will be awarded through an online audience vote.
The award ceremony
The awards ceremony will take place in Hamburg in November 2015. Three business ideas will be honored. First prize is worth €50,000, second prize €10,000, and third prize €5,000.
