Three Munich residents honored at the Technology Fast 50 Award 2017

At the "Technology Fast 50 Award 2017," Deloitte honored the fastest-growing German tech innovators for the 15th time. Global Savings Group, Uniscon and ATOSS Software Three Munich companies were also on the winners' podium in the double cone of the BMW Welt that evening.

The competition honors Germany's 50 fastest-growing technology companies, measured by percentage revenue growth. Additionally, the Rising Stars category, the Sustained Excellence Award, and a special Innovation Award are presented.

After Celonis and OnPage In recent years, a Munich-based startup has once again achieved a top ranking in the "Technology Fast 50" category. Under the motto "Powerful Connections," the Munich-based Global Savings Group (GSG) received the coveted trophy alongside Lesara and the metacrew group.

Nine Munich startups among the 50 fastest-growing technology companies

Among the top ten in the Technology Fast 50 category, there are also four other Munich startups: In 4th and 5th place with a growth of over 2000% the metoda GmbH and Finanzchef24, in 8th and 9th place Testbirds and FTAPI Software. And four more start-ups from the region are among the 50 fastest growing companies in Germany.

The winners of the Fast 50 Award are distinguished by proprietary technologies and an above-average growth rate over the past four fiscal years. To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 category, companies had to generate at least €50,000 in revenue in the 2013 fiscal year and at least €1 million in 2016.

Technology Fast 50 Award: “Reward for economic achievements”

Andreas Fruth, Managing Director and co-founder of GSG, is delighted about the prestigious award:

For the GSG This is the second award within a few days. At the beginning of November, the company already received the title of 'Growth Champions 2018' from Focus and Statista. GSG develops, operates, and networks various savings platforms.

Rising Star winner also from Munich

Dr. Ralf Rieken, CEO of Uniscon GmbH, accepts the Rising Star award.

Among the winners of the Rising Star Award was the Munich-based startup Uniscon, with a growth rate of +340%. Winners in this category must have been on the market for at least two years and have increased their revenue to at least €500,000 by 2016.

Uniscon develops encrypted cloud solutions in which data is not visible even to administrators, thus increasing the security of cloud computing. In summer 2017 TÜV Süd took over the Munich startup.

Sustained Excellence Special Award for ATOSS

A Munich-based company was also honored for its sustainable and successful business practices combined with a high level of innovation. ATOSS Software, founded in 1987, received the Sustained Excellence Award. ATOSS's human resources management software helps to optimally synchronize workloads and working hours.

Many companies applied for the award with impressive innovations that proactively shape digitalization.
