Exit at Aboalarm: The comparison portal Verivox is acquiring 100 percent of the shares of Aboalarm GmbH. The deal is scheduled to be implemented in early January.
The Munich Successful startup Aboalarm was founded in 2008 by Bernd Storm van's Gravesande and Stefan Neubig. The company claims to have a market share of 80 percent.
Verivox, a subsidiary of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, will integrate the Aboalarm service into its offerings. Bernd Storm van's Gravesande will remain Managing Director of Aboalarm, while Stefan Neubig will take on an advisory role. No details of the purchase price have been disclosed. Bernd Storm van's Gravesande says:

We will work together to increase awareness of the aboalarm brand through the media power of ProSiebenSat.1 and to open up new business areas with solutions like Finlytics."

Verivox CEO Chris Öhlund says that with Aboalarm, his company has found the right partner to optimally complement its existing services:
