The Startup SOMA Analytics was considered Europe's Health Startup of the Year The three-person founding team was honored with first prize during the eHealth Week in Riga.
The startup developed an early warning and prevention system that allows companies to measure the well-being of their employees. The app analyzes the user's stress level based on voice modulation during phone calls, smartphone usage, and even sleep movements. With the help of algorithms, it aims to reduce employee stress levels and thus lower the risk of burnout.
The startup originally comes from the Technical University of Munich and was at the Munich Business Plan Competition At the time, the Munich-based founders had also qualified for the London-based healthcare accelerator Healthbox and moved the company to the London coworking space Hub Westminster for three months. The company's headquarters remain in London.
