Prominent partnership: Philipp Lahm supports Startup Teens

Prominent support for young entrepreneurs: Football World Champion Philipp Lahm will be a cooperation partner of the non-profit organization from January 2018 Startup Teens.

The former football professional says about his commitment:

“What I like about Startup Teens is that young people are encouraged and empowered, free of charge, to implement their own entrepreneurial ideas, regardless of whether they want to become founders, company successors, or employees later on.”

And further says Lame:

“The fact that the teenagers’ social background is irrelevant fits particularly well with my approach to youth development.”

Hauke Schwiezer, Co-founder and Managing Director of Startup Teens, is pleased to have convinced the ex-professional to work together:

“With Philipp Lahm we have found our absolute dream cooperation partner for Startup Teens He's a great role model for young people in every way. We're really looking forward to working with him."

The non-profit initiative is the first online platform to offer free entrepreneurial training to teenagers in Germany. Students of all school types between the ages of 14 and 19 are eligible to participate.

The program aims to contribute to the future of more founders, company successors, and intrapreneurs in Germany. In the summer, Startup Teens, which was founded in 2015 by seven entrepreneurs, was honored by Chancellor Angela Merkel as the national winner at startsocial excellent.
