And if you still have questions, there will be a Q&A session on January 16th.
The Munich Business Plan Competition (MBPW) is part of the Bavarian Business Plan Competitions, from which more than 1,600 companies have emerged to date. Today, they are active in the market with approximately 11,400 employees and generate revenues of approximately €1 billion. Accordingly, the MBPW is an ideal tool for founders to further develop their business idea and create a solid business and growth plan for their company.
"With a well-thought-out business plan, the success rate for startups increases enormously. The business plan is the foundation of the business strategy and an important calling card for investors and business angels,"
says Harald Wagner, head of the Munich Business Plan Competition. He continues:
“With the competition and the accompanying workshop program, we show startups what’s important.”
New phase, new challenges
At the MBPW, founders have the opportunity to submit their business concepts and ideas in three competition phases. Each competition phase has a different focus and presents new challenges for the teams. In this first phase of the competition, which runs until January 22, 2018, the jury requires a roughly seven-page business outline or a fully developed pitch deck.
The volunteer expert jury is comprised of investors, business representatives, and experts in the startup scene. Top startup teams receive prizes and, in later stages, the opportunity for inclusion in the BayStartUP coaching program, as well as invitations to exclusive business angel and investor events organized by the BayStartUP investor network.
Still questions?
If you'd like to participate in the MBPW but still have questions, the Q&A session is the right place for you. BayStartUP offers all competition participants a Q&A session before the submission deadline.
The question and answer session will take place on January 16, 2018 from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm live on WERK1 The event will take place on 11 a.m. , but can also be followed online via video stream and chat. This will give startups another opportunity to clarify any outstanding issues with the heads of the business plan competitions – either in person or digitally.
