Hepa Wash uses German Accelerator to enter the USA

Hepa Wash goes USA: the Munich-based manufacturer of the world’s first multi-organ support system has started its collaboration with the German Accelerator Life Sciences (GALS), an initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), was announced. The program will support Hepa Wash's US expansion.

Hepa Wash has already introduced the innovative approach of the ADVOS (Advanced Organ Support) procedure some time ago, which enables multi-organ support of the liver, lungs and kidneys and with which the acid-base balance of the patient can be quickly balanced.

US market has its own rules

Dr. Bernhard Kreymann, CEO and founder of Hepa Wash, says about the expansion plans:

"We are very pleased to be accepted into the GALS program. It's a highly competitive program, demonstrating the tremendous achievements our team has already made. Experienced experts in the US recognize the potential of our ADVOS multi-organ support procedure to revolutionize intensive care treatment and improve patients' chances of survival."

And further:

"The US market is the largest medical device market in the world, but it also operates according to its own rules. Therefore, it is particularly important to have support from experienced industry experts in developing our strategy for approval, reimbursement, and market penetration in the US. We look forward to working with GALS mentors to assess our market readiness and further develop our strategy for FDA approval and reimbursement."

German Accelerator opens important doors

Christoph Lengauer, CEO of German Accelerator Life Sciences, said:

“I am confident that GALS can support Hepa Wash in further developing its US strategy and thus help the company achieve success.”

Hepa Wash's US expansion will be supported by a GALS mentoring team with profound commercial and technical expertise in organ support. The company will also have access to GALS's extensive network in the medical device industry, investors, and leading service providers.
