Call for pitch competition at the 2nd Startup Day'n'Nite

For the second time, the Burda Bootcamp is organizing its own conference, Startup Day'n'Nite (#SDNN). Startups can apply to participate in the pitch until January 10. The winners will move into the Burda Bootcamp for four months.

After the great Success of the first conference in September Now comes the second SDNN. The second SDNN will take place on January 20, 2018, just before the DLD. The focus of the conference is on inspiration and learning. However, the traditional pitch competition, for which startups can still apply, will also be retained.

The conference evolved from the popular Burda Bootcamp Startup Night events, which focused on pitches and networking. The SDNN conference aims to go a step further. Natalia Karbasova, Head of Burda Bootcamp, says:

"With our new conference format, Startup Day'n'Nite, we pursue the clear goal of pushing the Munich startup community and enriching it with relevant, inspiring, and exciting "hands-on" topics. Our visitors will take home tangible added value."

The day—and the night—will be used to present keynote speeches, inspiring panels, and workshops with renowned figures from business and entrepreneurship on two stages. Michael Brehm, the former CEO of StudiVz, will talk about what it's like when a major player suddenly threatens your social network. Also on stage: Marc Al-Hames, CEO of Cliqz; Florian Leibert, co-founder and CEO of Mesosphere; and Thomas Bachem, founder of CODE University, Sevenload, and Lebenslauf.com.
