IAre you still in school but already very interested in entrepreneurship? Then take the opportunity and meet role models like Philipp Lahm, Ebru Kaynak from myChipsBox or Jochen Engert from FlixBus — Startup Teens makes it possible. Applications can be submitted by email until January 15, 2018.
On Monday, January 22, 2018, 100 teenagers from Bavaria will have the opportunity to meet their entrepreneurial role models at WERK1. The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, together with the non-profit initiative Startup Teens, is hosting its first event in Bavaria to promote entrepreneurial thinking and action among young people.
Bavaria’s Minister of Economic Affairs Ilse Aigner will be there and is already looking forward to the entrepreneurs of tomorrow:
"Entrepreneurial thinking and action are extremely important for an innovative economy and society. We must encourage this—not only among adults, but also among young people. Their young, fresh ideas are the successful business models and companies of tomorrow. Therefore, I call on as many teenagers as possible to apply for one of the 100 coveted places at the event!"
Football World Champion Philipp Lahm, a cooperation partner of the non-profit organization since January 2018, adds:
“I think it’s a great idea to empower young people, regardless of their social background, to implement their own ideas in an entrepreneurial way, regardless of whether they later want to become founders, company successors, or employees.”
