TechfestNW (TFNW) in Oregon is still relatively unknown in Germany. Startups working in the fields of fittech, healthtech, foodtech, smart cities, or mobility can receive support during a visit. Applications are open until January 30th.
The Pacific Northwest of the USA is not only home to countless microbreweries, but also many innovative companies originate from the region between California and Canada. Microsoft and Amazon, among others, are based in Washington State. The region around Portland in neighboring Oregon is called the "Silicon Forest" because of its high-tech industry.
The TechfestNW conference invites startups, investors, entrepreneurs and innovators to the liberal city of Portland on April 5 and 6. Invest in Bavaria and the FitTech Meetup Munich support Bavarian startups that want to visit the TFNW.
Free tickets for TFNW
The selected startups will receive all-access passes for the TFNW and group accommodation. To pitch on site, a further application directly to TechfestNW necessaryInvest in Bavaria and the FitTech Meetup Munich also help arrange meetings with companies locally and, if interested, in Silicon Valley.
To apply, young companies must be active in the fields of fittech, healthtech, foodtech, smart cities, or mobility. The offer is exclusively aimed at startups that are already generating revenue, have their first customers, or already have investors on board.
To apply, interested startups should send their pitch deck of a maximum of five pages by January 30th to sanfrancisco@bavaria.org and in CC to Natalia.Karbasova@burda.com. One or two team members who would like to travel to Portland should also be mentioned.
