"We are very honored and proud that the World Economic Forum has named us pioneers in the important future fields of artificial intelligence and predictive maintenance. We want to help shape the future of mobility through the digitalization of railway infrastructure and the rapid implementation of IIoT technologies."
The Technology Pioneers are a global community of startups and growth companies with the potential to significantly impact the economy and society through the development and deployment of new technologies. The WEF's Technology Pioneers community has existed since 2000. A prominent selection committee of around 60 academics, entrepreneurs, venture capital investors, and business owners selects the approximately 30 companies each year.
Technology Pioneers companies of recent years include Airbnb, Dropbox, Google, Kickstarter, Mozilla, Palantir Technologies, and Twitter. In the last five years, only five other German companies have been nominated alongside Konux.
