For the second time, the Business Angel Network Germany (BAND) is awarding the Golden Aurora to the female Business Angel of the Year. Potential candidates for this award can be nominated until March 31, 2018.
Who can be nominated?
All active female investors with permanent residence in Europe are eligible to be nominated. The winner of the Golden Aurora is intended to act as an ambassador for female business angels in Europe, as BAND aims to motivate more women to become angel investors.
Who can nominate?
The investor can be nominated by anyone, whether from one of their portfolio companies or a colleague. The nomination should answer the following questions:
- How does the investor support startups both financially and entrepreneurially?
- What is special about working with her?

Nominations can be submitted until 31 March 2018 by email to Business Angels Network Germany eV be submitted.
A jury of experienced angel investors and renowned ecosystem players across Europe will select the winner. The awards ceremony will take place, as Awarding of the “Golden Nose”, as part of the “German Business Angels Day 2018” on June 17th in Berlin.
