“InsurTech Europe powered by Plug and Play” — a long name that will soon be used to describe the new joint startup innovation platform of InsurTech Hub Munich and Plug and Play.
When two join forces — a new innovation platform is to be launched, focusing on startups that will significantly change the insurance sector in the future. The new platform is supported by two strong partners: InsurTech Hub Munich and the Accelerator Plug and Play.
Plug and Play: Investing in local startups
Plug and Play is a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm and global innovation platform specializing in the development of early-stage technology startups. The world's largest accelerator has been operating in Munich since the end of last year. Plug and Play's decision to choose Munich as its first European location is not only due to the number of insurers based in Bavaria, but also to the positive influence that the InsurTech Hub Munich has on the European startup scene.

Through its partnership with the InsurTech Hub Munich, Plug and Play gains additional access to the European network of innovators, founders, and investors. Hub members receive access to all Plug and Play events and insights into relevant startups at the international level.
