Then apply now for the REWE Startup Award, present your idea to an expert jury, and perhaps bring your product to German retailers as quickly as possible, both in-store and online. The application deadline is April 5, 2018.
REWE is also now searching for startups and founders whose innovations come from the food sector. The winners of the REWE Startup Award have the prospect of being included in the REWE product range. To participate in the REWE Startup Award, your products must not yet be listed nationwide in stores and must meet all regulatory requirements.

also explains Hans-Jürgen Moog, who is responsible for purchasing and private labels at REWE. As a purchasing manager with extensive experience in the field of innovative products, Moog will also be part of the jury that will inspect and evaluate the final round of the best products on May 17, 2018, in Cologne. This event offers the finalists the opportunity to present their innovations to top decision-makers at one of Germany's largest food retailers and a specialist audience of journalists, bloggers, buyers, and merchants.
The main winner will receive national listings in the REWE central warehouse and the REWE delivery service, a large media package and participation in the Mondelēz International Startup Workshop.
