On Friday the Startup competition deinpepstore into the final round. Four young companies competed for a retail space at pep Neuperlach. The lucky winner was Anja Licht. She and her startup Paulikocht From May onwards, they will be able to move into the shopping centre for one year under special conditions.
Following its renovation and expansion, pep will reopen in May with an additional 8,000 square meters, making it the first shopping center to call itself "Munich's largest."
One year probation for Paulikocht
There, Paulikocht will now receive 50 square meters of retail space at a reduced rent, along with a furnishing subsidy for moving in. The young company, founded by Anja Licht, presented the most convincingly in the deinpepstore finals and also impressed with a coherent business concept. Should the startup prove successful in the brick-and-mortar retail sector, a lease extension could also be considered.
The company designs new products, sometimes in cooperation with other startups, and takes care of idea and product development, while its partners handle production. This means that the product range is constantly being expanded. For example, the most recent “Spice Stuff” in collaboration with Spicebar — from May onwards it will certainly also be available in the pep store.
