The non-profit organization Startup Teens is now strengthening its commitment in Bavaria with its second regional office in Germany. Head of the WERK1 The head of the Munich-based office is Dr. Stephanie Kapitza.
The goal of Startup Teens is to inspire teenagers between the ages of 14 and 19 to think and act entrepreneurially. Kapitza will drive the initiative's work regionally from the initial idea to the spin-off. Her main responsibilities as head of the regional office include presenting the initiative in schools, organizing events and idea workshops, promoting incubators specifically for startups for 16- to 25-year-olds, connecting mentors and mentees, and serving as a contact person in the region.

The business education graduate is particularly looking forward to working with committed young people and potential founders as well as direct contact with schools:

Promoting the entrepreneurs of tomorrow
The regional office in Munich is supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Energy and Technology.
"Entrepreneurial thinking and action are of paramount importance for an innovative economy. We must encourage this – not only among adults, but also among young people. Their young, fresh ideas are the successful business models and companies of tomorrow,"
explained the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs Franz Josef Pschierer the commitment of his ministry. Other partners are FlixBus, the Otto Eckart Foundation and the Chamber of Crafts for Munich and Upper Bavaria.
Kapitza earned her doctorate and taught in the field of entrepreneurship education at the Chair of Business Education at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Most recently, she served as CFO and COO in the management team of the startup microDimensions.
