CONTENTshift: Accelerator for the book and media industry

The Börsenverein Group is launching the third round of CONTENTshift. The funding program is aimed at startups in the book and media industries. Applications are still possible until May 30.

Participants in the three-month accelerator program will meet with investors and industry experts and gain access to the German book industry's network of interest groups. Together, they will discuss and further develop their business models. Startups from all over the world can apply until May 30th.

Network, coaching and chance to win 10,000 euros

The program for the five selected startups begins on July 2, 2018. A joint workshop weekend for the jury and startups will take place in mid-September. On October 11, the participants will pitch at the Frankfurt Book Fair for the award of Content Startup of the Year and a prize of €10,000. Detlef Büttner, board member of the German Publishers and Booksellers Association and jury member, says:

"CONTENTshift can now look back on two successful runs. In recent years, the accelerator has brought together founders, established companies, and investors. In 2018, we will continue to provide startups with the tools to further develop their business models while presenting fresh ideas and market strategies to the industry."

Companies can also participate in the program: In return for a financial contribution of €10,000, they receive a spot on the jury and direct contact with the startups. Supporters include the long-established Munich company Hugendubel.
