ClimateLaunchpad is the largest idea competition for green startups. The competition aims to promote cleantech ideas. Applications for the current round are open until May 17.
Anyone with a promising cleantech idea can participate—whether they're a startup, researcher, student, consultant, developer, or public organization. A fully developed business plan is not required. The following are the prerequisites for participation:
- Your own company is either not yet founded or is no more than one year old,
- Applicants have so far raised less than 200,000 euros in funding for their project and
- To date, no products, solutions or prototypes have been sold for commercial purposes.
ClimateLaunchpad provides access to the Climate-KIC Accelerator
Anyone who falls under these conditions can still register until May 17 apply hereSelected startups will participate in a bootcamp on June 7 and 8. The German final will take place on June 25.
The three best-placed German finalists will then take part in the grand finale in November 2018 and have the chance to win a place in the Climate-KIC Accelerator — without having to pitch there again. In addition, the international winner of the ClimateLaunchpad will receive €10,000. The runner-up will receive €5,000, and the third-place winner will receive €2,500.
