The drugstore chain dm is launching a crowdfunding contest. The contest offers shelf space in up to 2,000 dm stores and the company's online shop.
Startup programs from retail companies are currently very popular: Edeka, Rewe and metro are already looking for proximity to innovative companies and also Spar Austria offers startups space on its supermarket shelves. Now the drugstore chain dm is also getting in touch with the startup scene.

Possible areas include organic food, cosmetics, hygiene, cleaning, and baby supplies. Applicants' companies must already be established and pursue entrepreneurial goals. They must also already have a functioning prototype.
