Ryd and MySchleppApp work together

Munich-based startup Thinxnet and Cologne-based MySchleppApp are now collaborating. Users can now call a tow truck using Thinxnet's Ryd app.

The Ryd app from the Munich-based startup offers a whole range of tools for your car. A small box that the customer plugs into the car automatically collects data on the car's location, battery status, mileage, and much more. This allows, among other things, securing the car against theft, mobile payment at the gas station, keeping a digital logbook, and checking the car battery. Many people still know the smart car plug by its former name. Tanktaler known.

Now, the app can also call a towing or breakdown service in the event of a breakdown. The user enters their location in the app if necessary or allows their location to be tracked. The request is sent to the MySchleppApp system. The nearest tow truck driver is then notified and takes the car to the nearest repair shop. According to the operator, the average towing cost is €120. Thinxnet Managing Director Dr. Nikolas Deskovic says about the collaboration:

"The cooperation was straightforward from the beginning and we enjoyed it a lot: The synergies are clearly evident, and it's great to be able to offer our users another feature with breakdown assistance."

Santosh Sachdeva added by MySchleppApp:

"In this way, we are increasing our reach exponentially and can provide assistance to even more drivers in the event of a breakdown. We are therefore very pleased about the launch of the partnership and are already enjoying the positive working relationship with our Munich-based partner."
