Do you have a business idea but lack the necessary cash? Then get a helping hand: The Bavarian startup funding program Start?Zuschuss! aims to provide straightforward support to founders in the initial phase. Participation in the innovation competition is required, and you can apply until July 20, 2018.
Specifically, the program supports start-ups in the field of digitalization that were founded no more than two years ago (the relevant application deadline is the relevant date). The company should be based on a particularly sustainable and innovative business model.
Innovation competition is the first step to promote
A maximum of 50 percent of expenses will be subsidized for a period of 12 months. Eligible expenses for this program include:
- Rent and staff
- Product launch
- Research and Development
The two-stage application process requires eligible startups to first participate in the preliminary innovation competition (Stage 1). A jury then selects ten startups that ultimately submit the application and receive funding (Stage 2).
The cut-off dates for each stage are important: Currently, stage 1 of the innovation competition is still open until July 20, 2018. Funding for successful startups begins on October 1, 2018.
