Burda is hosting a conference on fitness and sports technologies. The winners of a startup pitch competition will receive a media budget of one million euros. Applications are only open until tomorrow.
The Burda Bootcamp hosts the FitTech SummitAt the conference, founders, investors, and experts will discuss future developments in the fitness industry. Among those speaking will be Johannes Scholl, co-founder of the VR fitness startup IcarosModel and presenter Eva Padberg will also be there, and 30 startups will showcase their products.
Pitch contest at the FitTech Summit
But the event is interesting for fitness startups for another reason: Until June 10 Companies can apply for a pitch competition at the FitTech Summit. While there's no cash to be won, only media performance, the grand prize is impressive: The competition winners will receive a million euros in media budget from the ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator. Additionally, the winners will receive a spot in the Burda Bootcamp co-working space and access to the Hubert Burda Media network.
A total of ten startups are participating in the pitch competition. The winner will be selected by a jury consisting of Camilla Dolan (Burda Principal Investments), Philipp Walter (Under Armour), Jens Pippig (ProSiebenSat.1 Accelerator), and Michael Diederich (HypoVereinsbank).
