“Mid-six-figure sum”: Fresh money for housing heroes

The Munich-based Proptech startup Housing heroes has completed a financing round. A consortium of business angels with ties to the real estate industry is investing a mid-six-figure sum in the solution for digital leasing processes. The company plans to use the capital to expand product development and sales.

Wohnungshelden offers a solution for digitizing the entire leasing process, from marketing to the signed lease. Housing companies can use the cloud software, for example, for leasing existing properties, leasing and marketing new construction projects, and mapping municipal procurement processes. The process is intended to become more efficient for the startup's customers and enable data analysis that complies with the requirements of the European General Data Protection Regulation.

Wohnungshelden has well-known customers

Wohnungshelden has been on the market with its software for 14 months and has so far processed more than 9,000 rentals in Germany and Austria. The proptech startup's customers also include the municipal Munich housing associations GWG and GEWOFAG. All customers together manage more than 250,000 residential units.

The two founders Martin Staudacher and Daniel Vallés Valls say:

"Our goal is to remain close to our customers and to further develop the system together. Only in this way can we understand which further useful additions provide direct added value."

Marc Stilke, former CEO of Immobilienscout24 in Germany, says about the startup and its founders:

"The digitization of the rental process represents the logical complement to marketing via portals and closes a major gap. I got to know the team and their solution as part of the blackprint PropTech Booster. Especially compared to other solutions in the brokerage sector, the founders impressed me with their process expertise and their ability to integrate this technically and intuitively into their solution."
