FlixBus is the first European long-distance bus operator to introduce Google Pay

FlixBus is the first European long-distance bus provider to integrate Google Pay into its Android app. This will allow FlixBus travelers to use their digital wallet to purchase tickets even faster and more reliably.

The Munich startup FlixBus has implemented the e-commerce payment system Google Pay in its Android app. With Google's payment system, transactions in apps and on websites can be processed quickly and easily. Users of the FlixBus app can now select the "Pay with Google Pay" button during the payment process and purchase their ticket with just a few clicks, provided their payment details are stored in their Google account.

Data security through two-factor authorization

Daniel Krauss, co-founder and CIO of FlixMobility, says:

"We're delighted to offer our passengers the best possible travel experience by integrating innovative new features into our app. With Google Pay, our passengers can easily book the fastest and cheapest FlixBus connection in the app. As always, we attach great importance to the data security of our users. Thanks to two-factor authentication, the identity of travelers is reliably confirmed before payment."

FlixBus has been interested in customer-oriented digital solutions since the company was founded in 2013.
