High-Tech Gründerfonds invests in rapid control engineering startup Inecosys

High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) is investing in Inecosys GmbH with a seed investment. The Munich-based startup supports its customers in the implementation of embedded projects through its Rapid Series Development (RSD) platform.

Fresh capital for Inecosys: The HTGF is investing in the startup and intends to use this to advance the development of the RSD process and the underlying embedded hardware. This new platform is intended to attract additional customers from the mechanical and plant engineering, manufacturing, energy, and construction machinery sectors in addition to existing customers.

The Inecosys GmbH supports its customers in the implementation of embedded projects through the RSD platform. Research and pre-development results are generated in a consistent and agile process on rapid control prototyping systems and then transferred to the requirements of the final series product. This enables customers to achieve significantly accelerated time to market while simultaneously reducing overall development costs.

Focus on time and cost advantages

"Our customers develop very complex and cost-intensive devices and systems in small quantities and have high demands on the underlying control and regulation units. Often, however, they do not have sufficient development resources of their own available,"

so Thomas Zimmer, one of the managing directors of Inecosys.

“We support our customers with our tools and our process in the development of embedded components and complete systems,”

Zimmer continued. The goal is to quickly and easily transfer the know-how from research and pre-development into series development, thus offering the customer the aforementioned time and cost advantages.

Gregor Haidl, Investment Manager of HTGF, adds:

"The team's skills and professionalism, combined with a strong product idea and positive references from previous customer projects, convinced us. The integrated Rapid Series Development platform of the Inecosys GmbH provides an important foundation for automating ECU development, which is still often very manual, in the future."
