The Venture Wiesn is celebrating its fifth anniversary! This original event will take place on Friday, September 18, on the eve of the tapping of the first keg and as the kickoff to Oktoberfest. The organizers turn the tables: The investors must present themselves to the startups in elevator pitches. A nice change of pace that also dispels any potential reservations.
After the ten selected investors have pitched, it's time to network. To get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere, there are classic Oktoberfest competitions, each themed around the theme – who among you hasn't always wanted to prove themselves at "Hau den Exit" (Smash the Exit) or "Financing Stance" with the help of a beer mug?
Around 500 founders and managing directors will meet with investors this evening, be they VCs, family offices, or business angels. A wide variety of industries, such as mobile, software, biotechnology, and mechanical engineering, are represented at the Venture Wiesn.
The event is organized by Münchner Gründer eV, an association of Munich founders, in cooperation with the Federal Association of German Startups (BVDS).
