With the Entrepreneur Hero Award 2018, an award specifically for solo self-employed people and small businesses will be presented for the second time in a row. Apply You can do this until September 30th.
The Entrepreneur Heroes Award is designed to recognize the achievements of solo entrepreneurs and small businesses. Following its inception last year, Debitoor will once again present awards to outstanding small businesses in 2018.
Around 90 percent of all companies in Germany, or approximately 3.1 million, are small and micro-enterprises. However, according to the organizers, they receive little media attention. The Entrepreneur Heroes Award aims to honor this large target group and recognize their achievements accordingly.

"Last year, we had an excellent start with over 200 applications and more than 10,000 online votes. We were delighted with the positive response and would like to build on that this year."
explained Hannah Lindstedt, Country Manager DACH at Debitoor.
"The overwhelming response proves that we've struck a chord. An award that focuses on the many solo entrepreneurs and small businesses that have to manage a lot on their own and lack a large lobby was long overdue. This year, we want to make the award bigger and more prominent to generate even greater reach for the companies involved."
The application period runs until September 30, 2018. The winners will be honored for the first time at a celebratory awards ceremony on November 30, 2018. The awards ceremony will take place as part of the 1st German Self-Employment Day.
As in previous years, two companies will be honored as part of the Company Heroes Award. The Audience Award will be determined through online voting. The Jury Award will be awarded by a five-member jury consisting of renowned startup experts and journalists.
