Then apply now for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Startup Slam at the European Health Congress Munich 2018!
The European Health Congress in Munich is dedicated to healthcare policy and the healthcare industry in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with a focus on a European exchange of ideas. On October 25 and 26, 2018, over 1,100 decision-makers and leaders in the healthcare sector are expected to attend—participants from hospitals, rehabilitation, social insurance, outpatient healthcare, nursing, and politics. The personal dialogue at the congress offers participants an optimal opportunity to build sustainable personal networks—and startups to connect with potential customers, cooperation partners, and investors.
This year's congress is themed "New Directions in Healthcare!" In 33 high-profile congress sessions, 150 speakers from Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Estonia, and the Netherlands will discuss the digital revolution and other future-relevant issues in healthcare policy.
During the slam, selected young companies can present themselves, engage in dialogue with potential customers and receive direct feedback on their product or service.
What do you get out of it as a startup?
Each of the seven selected startups will receive a free exhibition space at the IHK Startup Expo and can present themselves to attendees during both days of the conference. Here, you'll have the opportunity to engage with over 1,000 experts from the healthcare sector.
On the second day of the conference, each company will present itself in a short two-minute presentation. If you impress the audience, you have the opportunity to win a mentoring session with an experienced expert, who will provide you with tips and tricks on how to pitch your idea to customers or even convince a health insurance company. You can also expect a feature in the Chamber of Commerce and Industry's business magazine (circulation: 108,000 copies) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry's newsletter.

The organizers of the European Health Congress Munich 2018, together with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria, will select seven startups in an internal committee that have the greatest relevance for the target group.
The following criteria play a role, among others:
- The startup / young company should be no more than 5 years old
- Idea / Originality
- Benefits / added value for the healthcare industry
