The Munich-based startup FAIRFLEET was honored as the most innovative startup at INTERAERIAL SOLUTIONS (IASEXPO). The jury evaluated factors such as sustainability, innovative strength, expected commercial volume, project progress, and its marketing approach.
IASEXPO is a leading platform for unmanned aerial systems in Europe. It takes place in conjunction with INTERGEO and changes location annually in Germany. The forum addresses current topics from industry, politics, administration, and science. The second DRONE PIONEER AWARD was presented at this event, honoring drone-based solutions that address the global goals formulated in the UN Agenda 2030.
FAIRFLEET can prevail
Startups also received awards. Six young companies presented their innovative business ideas for drone applications to trade visitors and investors. The ideas were evaluated by a jury of experts consisting of Kay Wackwitz (Drone Industry Insights, DRONEII), Ulrike Mayr (Frankfurt Business Media), Jannis Töpfer (McKinsey & Company), and Jörg Bartsch (Business Angels Frankfurt).
The evaluation considered, among other things, topics such as sustainability, innovative strength, economic volume, and project progress. Innovative solutions in the field of disaster management and the inspection of industrial facilities were presented, as well as a streaming solution that sends data from drone cameras in real time directly to the mobile devices of first responders, for example, and innovative drones that can be flexibly equipped with cameras or grippers depending on the application.
Commercial drone application from a single source
The jury ultimately chose FAIRFLEET, a full-service provider for drone deployment, as the winner of the startup session. From consulting to planning and implementation to data processing, FAIRFLEET provides all aspects of commercial drone applications from a single source.
The winner will have a stand at the IASEXPO part of INTERGEO 2019, which will take place from September 17-19, 2019 in Stuttgart.
