Two Munich startups participate in the fifth TandemCamp

Fraunhofer Institutes and startups can write success stories togetherFor this to happen, however, both sides must be brought together. This is exactly what happened again at Fraunhofer Venture's fifth TandemCamp. Two startups from Munich are also participating.

Last Friday, Fraunhofer Venture's fifth TandemCamp kicked off with a kick-off workshop. Eight teams from Fraunhofer Institutes and startups, each of which prevailed against more than twice as many competitors in an application process consisting of a proposal, a joint project outline, and a selection interview, participated in this kick-off event.

The kick-off workshop focused on critical questions from all participants. This was intended to ensure that all project partners began the collaboration with the same expectations. Furthermore, the project visions were further developed and a roadmap for shared milestones was planned.

Two Munich startups among the top 8

Among the top 8 of this year's TandemCamp are two Munich startups. Firstly, Slide-Stop GmbH, a spin-off from the Technical University of Munich, which is Fraunhofer IFAM (Institute for Manufacturing Technology and Applied Materials Research) is working on Animal Care, an adhesive technology for equestrian sports.

On the other hand, the Hatchmore Labs GmbH, who as project partner is Fraunhofer ITEM (Institute of Toxicology and Experimental Medicine). Together, they plan to work in the healthcare sector on the further development of nebulizers, a drug delivery device used to inhale medications through the lungs.
