The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs' "Start?Zuschuss!" competition honors the winners of the fifth phase—almost all of the startups in this round are from Munich. At the same time, the application period for the next round begins. Young tech companies can apply for funding until January 11, 2019.
The countdown runs until January 11, 2019, at noon. Young tech-oriented companies in the field of digitalization can apply until then, provided they were founded no more than two years ago. The most innovative, future-proof business ideas will be recognized. The winners will receive up to €36,000 in funding for one year, starting in April 2019. Funding can be provided for rent and personnel expenses, market entry, and research and development. The funding guidelines and the online application form for 'Start?Zuschuss!' are already online.
Almost all winners come from Munich

Also from the healthcare sector MedikuraTheir platform aims to connect patients, doctors, insurance companies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers so that they can exchange data on medication side effects. A health platform also has reFit Systems The platform aims to improve the rehabilitation of children with mobility impairments using video game modules.
The next winner, the Ottobrunn-based company Volabo, aims to revolutionize the drive system of electric cars with its innovative concept. Xpreneurs -Startup Noyanum offers an innovative SaaS solution for restaurants that provides daily sales forecasts. This optimizes inventory utilization and personnel planning, and reduces food waste.
Also winning the Start?Zuschuss! award was Plant1-Startup gasido, a B2B procurement platform for industrial gases that efficiently connects suppliers and buyers via the Internet. Contech from Fürstenfeldbruck, in turn, uses artificial intelligence for its "Contech Analyser" software, which supports companies in error prevention and resource efficiency. Continuity is pleased about the funding. With the company's online software solution, users can develop and build their own control units even without in-depth electronics knowledge. The award also went to FLYLA for their platform, which offers cheap airline tickets especially for students.
