The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award recognizes Germany's high-flyers in technology. The Munich-based company Uniscon took third place. This year's special award, the Innovation Award, went to the Munich-based company Mynaric, and the Sustained Excellence Award went to 4flow, among others—for the second time!
The Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Award was created to honor 'tech excellence made in Germany'. For the 16th time, the consulting firm honored the fastest-growing German companies. This year, the first and second place awards did not go to a Munich-based startup. However, third place went to the formerly MTZ based company Uniscon with a growth rate of 1,997 percent.
The startup is the inventor of the patented security technology "Sealed Cloud." Last year, Uniscon was in the Rising Star category been awarded.
Two special prizes for Munich companies
This year, two local companies also made it onto the list of special award winners. The 'Sustained Excellence Award' recognizes companies that, in addition to long-term growth, demonstrate innovativeness, entrepreneurial spirit, and sustainable corporate management. Among those who impressed was the Munich-based company 4flow. The logistics company had already 2016 the award and offers its customers logistics consulting as well as suitable software and services.
Separate from the Fast 50 criteria, Deloitte also presented the 'Innovation Award'. With this award, the company honored the successful company Mynaric from Gilching. The publicly listed company enables extremely fast and secure wireless data transmission between aircraft, drones, and satellites. This technology makes it possible to create an 'internet above the clouds.'

With the Technology Fast 50 Award, the consulting firm aims to recognize outstanding entrepreneurial achievements for Germany as a technology hub. Dr. Andreas Gentner, Partner and Head of Technology, Media & Telecommunications EMEA at Deloitte, explains:
