Wirelane has raised four million euros in a Series A financing round. The company plans to use the fresh capital to bring its charging infrastructure to market maturity.
How startup scene reported, Munich-based investor Vito Ventures is investing four million euros in Wirelane. Coparion, the High-Tech Founders Fund and Ritter Starkstromtechnik from Dortmund joined the Munich-based company.
The startup describes itself as a "future-oriented full-service provider" in the field of electromobility. The company develops charging stations for electric cars, an app for users, and suitable software for station operators. The company sells its solution as software-as-a-service for end customers and electromobility providers.

Currently, only the Wirelane software and the smartphone app are available. Mobility providers pay between five and ten euros per month and charging point for the software, plus an additional fee per payment transaction. The company is working with DAX newcomer Wirecard from Aschheim near Munich.
The startup is led by serial entrepreneur Constantin Schwaab. The alumnus of Munich's Ludwig Maximilian University founded the photovoltaic company Plain Energy in 2007. In 2013, Schwaab founded the cinema ticket startup movie hero .
