Virtual time travel and furniture in industrial design: This year's Munich Founders' Prize goes to TimeRide and KWERQUS.

The Stadtsparkasse München (Munich Savings Bank) is awarding two startup companies the Munich Founders' Prize. The winners are TimeRide and KWERQUS. TimeRide uses virtual reality to offer a journey back in time to Cologne during the imperial era. More cities are to follow shortly. The startup was awarded the prize just this summer. Bavarian Founders' Prize The second prize winner, KWERQUS, sells industrial-design furnishings online. The company develops and produces exclusively in Germany.
