Good news from UrmO: The Munich-based startup not only successfully completed its Kickstarter campaign, but also more than doubled its funding goal of €65,000. The young company raised a total of €159,618.

Commuters and city dwellers can ideally travel without traffic jams. Thanks to the patented folding mechanism, the vehicle can be folded to the size of a briefcase in less than two seconds. Weighing only 6.5 kg, the UrmO is easy to transport. It reaches a top speed of 15 km/h and is steered via intuitive weight shifting.

UrmO founders Felix Ballendat, Jakob Karbaumer, and Sebastian Signer are currently in talks with several major German automakers about possibly integrating the UrmO into the trunks of certain models. Delivery of the vehicles is scheduled for the end of 2019. Parallel to the crowdfunding campaign, the UrmO founders are seeking investors who will support them with their industry expertise.
