Carsten Maschmeyer invests in Alyne

The Munich-based Regtech startup Alyne secured an investment of 3 million euros. Among the investors is Carsten Maschmeyer's financing company.

Founded in 2015, Alyne aims to make technology risk management more cost-effective and, above all, simpler for highly regulated industries such as the financial sector. Its focus is on topics such as cyber risks, data protection, and compliance for corporations and medium-sized companies.

The company aims to use the fresh capital to finance its growth and expand its customer base. Alstin Capital, the investment company of the Maschmeyer Group, is the lead investor in the financing round. Hannover Digital Investments is also joining the Munich-based company. Combined with previous financing rounds, the regtech has secured a total of €4.2 million in investor capital.

Maschmeyer: Alyne is a leading player in the game

Carsten Maschmeyer, who serves as Managing Partner at Alstin Capital, says the investment presents his company with a tremendous opportunity and calls the Munich-based startup the "leading player in the game." The RegTech company's technology is the first scalable digital solution for an industry undergoing transformation. In addition to the capital, Maschmeyer plans to support Alyne in sales, marketing, and strategy.

Karl Viertel, CEO of Alyne, says the investments will help his company meet the immense demand for its products.
