DICA: New accelerator for beverage startups

The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE) is launching the accelerator program DICA – Drink Innovation Campus, together with the industry magazine Inside and partners from the beverage industry. Startups related to the beverage industry can apply until February 20th. apply for the six-month program.

The program is aimed at all German and international beverage startups, from the very early stages to the first years after their founding. The focus is on social change, digitalization, and sustainability. Participants receive €2,000 in funding and can participate in coaching sessions and workshops offered by the SCE. The startups also gain access to a network in the beverage industry.

DICA offers “a unique space in which we can experiment together on innovations and develop ideas”

In this program, the SCE teaches methods for company development and scaling. The Entrepreneurship Center also supports established companies and startups in establishing collaborations. Klaus Sailer, Managing Director of SCE, says:

“With DICA, we offer startups and innovation partners not only methodological support, but also a unique space in which we can experiment together on innovations and develop and advance ideas.”

Partners of the beverage accelerator include the Hassia Group, Veltins, and Symrise. Additional industry supporters are expected to join in the future.


Applications for DICA are still possible until February 20th.
