The Munich-based company Keller Sports was named Germany's best online retailer by Internet World Business magazine.
The trade magazine's awards were presented in five categories: Keller Sports won the award for Best Online Retailer, Bonprix was named Best Brand Shop, Würth was named Best B2B Shop, and Generation Yes was honored as Hidden Champion. The "Retailer of the Year 2019" Audience Award went to Picnic.
“Being named Best Online Retailer and thus winning the newly created premier category of the Internet World Business Shop Awards is a huge compliment to our entire Keller Sports team and a confirmation of our goal-oriented work over the past few years,”
so Jacob Keller, CEO of Keller Sports.
“The sports-loving premium customer hardly has his or her wishes left unfulfilled.”
The newly created award category, in which the Munich-based company prevailed, combines the previous awards "Best Online Pure Player" and "Best Multichannel Retailer." Five shops made it onto the shortlist from a total of 245 submissions. The jury's statement states:
“Starting out as a pure online player, the premium sports retailer now addresses its customers throughout their entire customer journey.”
The online shop "sets standards across all product lines." The Munich experience store and the company's app also received praise. The company concluded: "There's hardly anything left to be desired for the sports-loving premium customer." Marcus Trute, COO of Keller Sports, says:
"This exclusive award is not only a validation of our work, but also an incentive to continue our goal-oriented activities with commitment and passion. We firmly believe that physical activity contributes significantly to a healthy body and mind and would like to further expand our positioning as a leading digital premium destination for innovative sports services, products, and our own content."
