Startup Work — the perfect place for job seekers

'Startup Work' is a new job fair for Munich, created specifically for startups. Organized by Werk1, the fair is aimed at job seekers who want to work in Munich's startup scene. What do participating startups expect from the event?

The 'Startup Work' trade fair aims to bring startups and motivated job seekers together in Munich. Around 50 startups are offering a total of more than 340 job openings. Rarely has it been so easy for applicants to find a job in the startup environment in Munich. Plant1 aims to bring young entrepreneurs and applicants together. In addition to the exhibitor stands, which visitors can visit in a circular format, applicants can also attend specialist workshops. So, anyone who isn't interested in a corporate career has a good chance of finding a job at Startup Work. the Finding a dream job alongside visionary founders.

Recruiting is a critical issue for startups. Young companies need qualified personnel to grow, develop, and establish sales channels. Werk1 aims to support this by creating Startup Work, a matchmaking platform for startups and job seekers. The goal is for companies to find suitable candidates for open positions within a single day.

'Startup Work' fair aims to find candidates for open positions in one day

Leon Zucchini, CEO and Co-Founder of Curiosity, says:

"Startup Work is a great opportunity for Curiosity to meet potential employees interested in working at a startup. We find it particularly interesting that applicants can simply drop by our office to experience us 'in a natural environment.'"

The fair takes place directly at Werk1, and applicants can simply walk from office to office. But other startups that are not located in the incubator also present themselves at Startup Work. This includes PersonioThe Munich startup had just launched a 40 million dollar investment , counts itself as one of the 'fastest-growing startups in Germany'. The company has over 40 open positions listed on its website — from IT specialists and sales to marketing experts and accountants. Hanno Renner, CEO and Personio co-founder, explained:

"Our vision is to build Europe's leading HR platform. To achieve this, we need motivated and talented employees to help us get closer to our goal. For this reason, 'Startup Work' offers us the perfect opportunity to engage with interesting candidates."

Also Sebastian Schuon, Co-Founder of Alasco, is looking forward to the fair:
