Founders can apply for the business plan phase of the Science4Life Venture Cup until April 12, 2019. The winners also receive cash prizes.

Science4Life is looking for innovative founders from the life sciences, chemistry, and energy sectors. The business plan competition consists of three phases: idea, concept, and business plan. The business plan phase has just begun, and startups and future founders can apply until April 12. Startups benefit from the competition's network of experts and investors, receiving feedback, coaching, and input for developing their business plan.

Energy startups have a chance to win a special prize

Ten entrepreneurial teams will receive prize money totaling €56,000, while the winner of the Science4Life Venture Cup will receive €25,000—the foundation for a patent application or the founding of a GmbH. Energy startups participating in the Science4Life Venture Cup automatically qualify for the Science4Life Energy Award. The special Energy Prize is endowed with an additional €10,000. Business plans must be submitted via Science4Life website.

25,000 euros for the winning team of the Science4Life Venture Cup

The five best founding teams in the business plan phase will also have the opportunity to participate in a multi-day excellence workshop and engage in intensive discussions with various top-class experts from academia, industry, and the financial world. The strengths and weaknesses of the business model and business plan will be discussed with industry experts, and the presentation will be fine-tuned with communications specialists. Following the workshop, the top five teams will present their business ideas to the Science4Life expert jury, which will then determine the ranking of first to fifth place. A total of ten startups will receive prize money, and the winning team will receive €25,000.
