At VentureCon Bavaria on May 21, 2019, in Munich, startups from Germany and Europe have the opportunity to present their companies to over 80 selected investors and corporates. Tech and digital startups can apply until April 15. apply for one of the free pitching slots.
In addition to German and international venture capitalists, strategic investors, and public funding providers, VentureCon Bavaria will also feature numerous representatives and members of European business angel networks. The event is organized by the Founders' Network Baystartup. This coordinates one of the largest investor networks in Europe. VentureCon's cooperation partners are the Business Angels Europe Club and Invest in Bavaria.
Growth-oriented and looking for capital?
VentureCon Bavaria is aimed at tech and digital startups from all industries that pursue a growth-oriented business model and require capital of €500,000 or more. Startups should be able to demonstrate that there is a demand for their solution in the international market. They should also be willing to take the next steps in growth with international business opportunities and financing partners.
Baystartup prepares presenting teams for their pitches in advance of the event. In addition to funding opportunities, there's also the chance to network with decision-makers from global players, hidden champions, and technology experts from companies across a wide range of industries.
First VentureCon Bavaria, then Startup Demo Night
Presenting teams will also receive an exhibitor stand at the Startup Demo NightThe event takes place after VentureCon Bavaria and, with around 1,000 visitors, is one of the largest startup fairs in Munich. Seventy startups will present their products. The motto for guests is "touch and try" — from smart drinking cups to sensor technologies for healthcare solutions.
