Competitions at the TUM Entrepreneurship Day 2019

The TUM Entrepreneurship Day on June 24, 2019, offers young companies the opportunity every year to present their innovative ideas to an interested audience.

TUM students will also have the opportunity to interact with startup teams, industry partners, and the TUM Startup Advisory Service. The startup fair program also includes various pitch competitions and award ceremonies. Not only high-tech startups with a TUM background can participate in the competitions, but also students. The application process for the competitions and booth space is currently underway! For all registrations, at least one team member must be a TUM student, employee, or alumnus.

Live Pitch Competition

In the "Pitch Perfect" competition, high-tech startups compete live against each other. The winners are awarded a €2,000 audience prize and a €7,000 jury prize. The application deadline is May 20, 2019.

Video Pitch Competition

The theme of the competition is "Problems Worth Solving." Entrants are encouraged to present interesting, known or unknown problems in a creative, short video that could also be a good idea for a startup. Completed submissions must be uploaded to Slack by June 10, 2019. The community has 48 hours, starting June 12, 2019, to vote for the submitted videos. The winners will be announced at the TUM Entrepreneurship Day. The prize money is €1,000.

Exhibition stands

The application period for exhibition stands also runs until June 10, 2018. Founding teams and startups can present their new technologies, ideas, and products both before and after their founding.
